It is recommended that campgrounds be developed throughout the county to address some of the lodging needs of those engaging in adventure tourism.
Below are specifications one might use as a guideline.
RV & PRIMITIVE CAMPING AREAS
Suggested conceptual idea
20 sites plus additional primitive sites
10 units for 20 hook-ups with both 30 amp and 50 amp with 125 plug-in.
One dump station shared by all.
Water at every site.
Small picnic shelter with electricity, overhead fan and potable water spigot.
Potential to share shower house/restrooms, shelter pavilion and playground at the existing swimming pool/park area.

Campgrounds that also serve as trailheads for either equestrian trails, ATV trails, or both should include pull-in areas with a minimum depth of 55 feet to accommodate both car and trailer.
