Always the first weekend in May and October.
October 1 - 4, 2015 are the dates for this fall's Trail Ride. April 30 - May 3, 2015 were the dates for the Spring 2015 Ride.
Admission will be $20.00 for all three days. 12 and under get in FREE.
Many come early and stay all week which is fine. No additional cost to come early. BUT REMEMBER, the gate to campground will not open until 4pm the Sunday before the rides are scheduled.
Riders MUST have both coggins and current health certificates
for all horses with you.
There will be music all three nights (Thursday, Friday & Saturday).
Music line ups for the upcoming ride will be posted as soon as they have been confirmed.
The cost: $20 per person for the entire event, no matter if you come in at the first of the week or just for one day. Children 12 or under are admitted free.
No electricity on site although many people bring generators. Please Note: In the early morning and at dusk, one can hear the elk bugle this time of year which is amazing to hear. But loud generators block out the sound so, if you bring a generator, please try to bring a quiet one.
The local fire departments bring water up to the camping area and do an amazing job keeping the water troughs full.
Port-a-Johns are located throughout the camping area. A septic service for RV's will be available. The County also brings in a large trailer that sets up Thursday and offers hot showers for $5 each Thursday - Sunday. Boy does it feel good after a full day of riding. Do bring your own towels.
Campfires are fine at your campsite. There are pickets to tie up your horses by the stage area which is also a great place to “park your horses” when grabbing a bite to eat at the concessions area.
