The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, in partnership with the Knott County Tourism Commission and the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources sponsored the 2nd Annual Kentucky Elk Expo & Sportsmen's Show on September 11-13, 2009. The expo was held at the Knott County Sportsplex located just off Hwy 80 east of Hindman, Kentucky. Hours: Friday, 4 pm - 9 pm; Saturday 9 am - 9 pm; and Sunday 12 Noon - 5 pm.

Admission Cost: $5 per person/$3 per child/12 and under - FREE
VENDOR INFORMATION:
Business or organizations can reserve a 10' x 10' booth for $200 (for profit). The fee includes admission for 2 workers, a table and 2 chairs or $100 for non-profit. Those who reserve space before August 15 will receive a 50% discount. Click here to download an informational brochure (PDF).

Directions to the Sportsplex - Knott County Sportsplex is located right off Hwy 80 at about mile marker 15. Turn south on Chestnut Ridge Road and then right on Kenny Champion Loop. Located just 22 miles east of Hwy 15 (Hazard), 8 miles east of Hwy 160 (Hindman), and 22 miles west of Hwy 23 (Prestonsburg) on Hwy 80.
