Kentucky Railway Museum

At the Kentucky Railway Museum, just off Bluegrass parkway and I-65 in New haven, Kentucky, recapture the romance of the local passenger train when it was small-town America's link to the world.

Old 152

Ride through the scenic and historic Rolling Fork River Valley, learn about the railroad's Civil War connection and the towns and people who built the railroad, beginning in the 1850s. special events include train robberies, special holiday train rides, and festivals.

Your twenty-two mile, one hour journey will be powered by the only restored Louisville & Nashville steam locomotive, #152, on selected weekends and holidays. Built in 1905, it powered passenger trains over these rails, the L&N's Lebanon Branch, when it was a major artery through central Kentucky. On other days, first generation diesels provide locomotive power for the authentic coaches on our rails.
