Turn left to continue on Hwy 68/80.

Upon turning left, one will see a large sign on the right welcoming visitors to "Hilltopper Country".
On the right one comes to: WKU's Baseball field

WKU Football Arena is located on the right.

City Limits for Oakland, a railroad community established in 1859. Still remaining is a small downtown with a post office, a few buildings, a residential area and school. Railroad tracks still go through the downtown area and are still used.

Official tourism brown signs letting travelers know to turn left at Hwy 101 to get to Historic Smiths Grove, a historic community which includes restaurants, B & B's, hotels, numerous antique shops, a show cave, historic homes, churches and cemeteries.
Hwy 101 also takes the traveler to I-65.
