The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (Daniel Boone Chapter), in partnership with the Knott County Tourism Commission and the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources sponsored the first ever Kentucky Elk Country Expo on September 12-13, 2008. The expo was held at the Knott County Sportsplex located just off Hwy 80 east of Hindman, Kentucky.

Bragging rights plus first and second place prize awards in each category and winners are encouraged to bring their antlers to the Banquet (9/13).

Description: Dinner/Banquet. Doors open at 5 pm with games, activities and a silent auction. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm followed by a live auction at 7 pm. Seating is limited to 250, so reserve your seats by calling (606) 487-1580 - Perry County Tourism. Each reserved seat includes dinner for $30/adult, Children under 10 are free. Dinner Menu includes: prime rib, chicken, vegetables, sides, desserts and beverages.
There are special group/corporate rates available, call for information.

VENDOR INFORMATION:

Business or organizations can reserve a 10' x 10' booth for $100. The fee includes admission for 2 booth workers, a table and 2 chairs.

Non-profits: $20. Electrical outlets are available, but bringing an extension cord is recommended.
