THE REDBIRD DISTRICT OF THE DANIEL BOONE NATIONAL FOREST
The Redbird Ranger District is best known for the Redbird Crest Trail, a 64-mile multiple use loop trail. The trail is open to horseback riding, mountain biking and OHVing, in addition to hikers and backpackers.
Redbird Wildlife Management Area
With terrain from hilly to steep and gentle slopes in bottomlands to ridge tops, there is no better place for wildlife viewing opportunities. The area is mainly forested with approximately 100 acres of openings and 25 miles of hiking trails. There are no developed facilities. (606) 878-9595.
