Glasgow is over 200 years old. Named the county seat only one year after Barren County was formed from parts of Green and Warren counties. Glasgow is very proud of its Scottish heritage and shows it every year at the Glasgow Highland Games. People from all over the world come and participate. Visit the Museum of the Barrens that contains historical exhibits from a five county area, a doll collection and a genealogical library. Antique and craft shops are stocked with unique crafts, furniture and collectibles. Come Visit!
