 2 miles east of Morganfield of KY 56. Rolling hills with hardwood sections, lots of small clearings and wildlife plantings. Migratory waterfowl, some songbirds on the moist soil units, rabbit and quail hunting. Learning center, interpretive hiking trals and various wildlife habitat vegetative plants to view. Hiking, 80-acre lake with bank fishing, launching ramp, 2 smaller lakes, picnic areas. Camping on designated sites only.
Sloughs WMA

 Ridges, sloughs, moist soil, woodlands, brush and open crop fields. Kentucky's largest great blue heron rookery located here and Canadian geese and ducks winter here every year.
Green River State Forest
1,117 acres in Henderson Co.		 5 miles northeast of Henderson on US 60. 65-70 acres of swampland and bottomlands, the rest is gently sloping uplands.
L. B. Davidson WMA

 4 miles west of the Hwy 54 junction. Hilly terrain, steep cliffs, almost completely forested, much in virgin hardwoods. Fishing & boating in bordering Rough River. Deer, turkey, squirrel hunting.
Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center

 1 Tract (Sinclair) contains waterfowl refuge around Goose Lake. Rough terrain from swampland to high ridges and deep pits; mostly reclaimed coal land with numerous excavated ridges and water-filled strip mine pits. Excellent birding and fishing opportunities. Deer, turkey, waterfowl, small game, quail. Horseback riding trails in Muhlenberg and Ohio County.
Yellowbank WMA

Rough River Lake WMA

 60% is open to hunting under special regulations. Active military reservation. 120 miles of road. Rolling upland, broad ridge tops, narrow valleys with steep to sloping cliffs. Hardwood forests. Trout streams and several lakes available for fishing.
