MTORA was formed in early 2006 in an effort to provide off-road enthusiasts in SW Virginia, NE Tennessee and SE Kentucky an organization which would enable us to meet and share ideas and info as well as to give us a voice in legislation concerning the off-road community. The club rides the Stone & Black Mountain Trail System in Lee County, VA, Bell and Harlan Counties in Kentucky. Legal areas to ride with miles of trails.
There are currently over 100 miles of trails accessible to club members seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Family oriented ATV club trying to open up and create new trails for recreational use, as well as becoming involved in the search & rescue, being involved in charitable activities, fund raising and promoting tourism in order to aid the local ecnomy.
