McLean County is blessed with three major rivers that provide many opportunities for recreation on the water including boating, waterskiing, tubing, fishing or just watching the river barges.

Sports fishing is popular on all the rivers, especially on the Green River below the Calhoun Lock and Dam #2 and Kittenger River Park (information coming soon) at the mouth of the Pond River.

River Parks:
"Calhoun on the Green" Riverfront Park. Shelter, picnic tables, walking trail, benches, BBQ grills and boat ramp.
Livermore Riverfront Park. Includes a large picnic pavillion with restrooms, BBQ grills, riverwalk, a full size tank Veteran's Memorial and a historic railroad overlook. Also has a playground, volleyball court, additional picnic area, lighted tennis courts, an RV park wiwth over 30 RV pads, shower house and the Rough River Nature Trail nearby.Click here
