Used by Confederate General John Hunt Morgan as his headquarters during his raids on Lebanon, Myrtledene today offers slightly more relaxed environment for its guests. 1 guest room - the house is completely furnished in antiques. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home and make sure of the entire house and grounds.

Phones, television, stereo and piano are available for guest use. Gardens, fish ponds and swings are ideal for couples on a romantic retreat.

Myrtledene has been designated as a Kentucky Landmark by the Kentucky Heritage Council.
