"I can't tell you how much fun we had in Auburn, Kentucky. Everyone was so pleasant to us and there were things to do and see (the tractor parade and flea market sale in the downtown park). We didn't want to leave. We got there just before 11 am and Auburn was ready for us! I definitely appreciated the discounts in many of the antique store booths. That's one good reason why we'll be sure to attend the 400 mile sale again next year!"

First Place goes to Ward's Landing!
Free Coffee and Biscuits attracted many visitors to stop at Ward's Landing!
They also had live music, adequate parking and lots of wonderful vendors all in one location. All of this was centered around a restaurant that catered to both the guests and the vendors and had wonderful food. Excellent location to set up next year. Better line up quick, I bet they'll fill up soon!
Second Place goes to Ichthus Park near Wilmore Kentucky, in Jessamine County, whose fiscal court provided port-a-johns, both handicapped and regular parking, covered vendor areas, gated security at night and ice cold water. They also had wonderful signage letting people know something was coming up.
"I really enjoyed the water break traveling north past Shakertown... their volunteers were helpful and pleasant too. The bathrooms set up there were a welcome sight and the drinking water was sparkling and COLD." comment from visitor from New Tazewell, Tennessee.
Dippity Dog in Cadiz. Sold the best hotdog with every topping you can imagine. I had the Chicago Dog which had sauteed onions, peppers, mustard and cucumbers. It was delicious!
Need a photo, anyone have one??????
At the opposite end of the 400 mile sale was great Kentucky BBQ. People from four counties away were showing up at The Chuckwagon in Carlisle to get pounds of it to put in their freezers for future meals. You could buy a plate to go that included: chips, dessert and a drink in neat carriers. Next year, they might even add BBQ chicken. Check them out!
A Kettlecorn demonstration in Campbellsville was mouth-watering. The vendor came all the way from Alabama.
