The Mine Made Adventure Park is made up of hundreds of miles of trails on 43,000 acres of reclaimed coal land located just outside the towns of Leburn and Hindman in the Appalachian mountains of East Kentucky.
ATV & DIRTBIKE TRAILS:

ATV SAFETY TRAINING CENTER:
Knott County has the only ATV Safety Training Center in the U.S. which also includes a skills test course and access to hundreds of miles of trails to try out your skills. Call Tim at (606) 233-0080 for details or to set up lessons.

HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDING
Over 100 miles of dedicated horse trails in Mine Made Paradise Park. Knott County Fiscal Court hosts two annual events:
Spring Ride, scheduled for the first Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday in May.
Fall Ride, scheduled for the first Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday in October.

Primitive camping is now available at trailhead.
$15 per trailer/camper/tent for up to 4 people per night. Includes hot shower (Note: One lodging unit per site)
Additional people at campsite - $5 each.

ELK VIEWING OPPORTUNITIES
With over 11,000 elk, Southeast Kentucky has more elk than any state east of the Rockies and Knott County has been declared the "Elk Capital of the East".
Mine Made Paradise Park is one of the best places to view elk especially near the ATV Training Center & campground or along Elk View Drive. The best time to view elk is at sunrise and at dusk especially in early Fall, Winter and Spring.
