The fourth and present Ohio County courthouse was constructed in 1943. Some of the funding for the project was provided by a grant from the Public Works Administration. Walter Scott Roberts of Owensboro was the architect for the project. The courthouse is constructed using poured concrete. The total cost for the project $135,000.
