The current Bullitt County courthouse is only the second courthouse used by Bullitt County. The previous courthouse served the county for almost one hundred years. The new building was constructed in 1900 – 1901 and is of a Beaux- Arts design. The contractors for this courthouse were Brasher and Johnson and the project was completed for a cost of $ 11,500.
