Riverside is the site of a former 19th century Ohio River farm.
The historic site offers public tours, educational programs, special events and seasonal riverboat excursions.
Interpretation of the agricultural history is focused through tour of farm house outbuildings and garden site, that are expected to expand over time.
DIRECTIONS:
From Louisville: Take I-65 south to the Gene Snyder Freeway West. Follow Gene Snyder approximately 10 miles. Take the First Flashing Yellow light onto Lower River Road. Watch for Entrance on Right (1/8 mile down Lower River).
FUTURE PLANS:
Expects to expand interpretation of farm site by cultivating historic crops and exhibiting livestock.
