This site was developed solely for the purpose of the Spearheads Trails initiative in Southwest Virginia in their efforts to develop an extensive trail system within the counties of Lee, Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell, Scott, Tazewell, Wise and the City of Norton.
On this website, one will find an inventory of unverified or potential trails which have been provided from a variety of sources. While we have tried to acquire the most accurate information, we have not personally visited every area described herein. Your use of this site indicates your assumption that it contains errors and an acknowledgement of your own sole responsibility to ask permission from landowners before accessing any of the trails or entering anyone's property.
Landownership is constantly changing. Please make it your responsibility to find out who owns the land you wish to access.
