FIRST EVER ARCHERY SHOOT AT MYER CREEK PARK

Despite a gray sky and off and on showers, the Myer Creek Archers held their first 3-D archery shoot at their new range on Saturday, April 19th. By some standards, the day could have been consideded dismal and dreary, but the archers laughed and joked with each other in friendly competition as they made their way thru the woods from station to station.
Everyone had a great time shooting and then made their way toward the aroma of pork burgers and hot dogs cooking on the grill. It was a great start to a promising future for the new range.

(South from Owensboro traveling on Hwy 81)
Continue into Calhoun, at stoplight, turn east (left) onto KY 136. Go 0.3 miles and turn right onto Park Loop.

Traveling north from Hopkinsville, turn onto KY 138 east at exit #54 and go 13.1 miles. Turn north onto KY 81 through Calhoun. Turn right onto KY 136 east at stoplight and go 0.3 miles then turn right onto Park Loop.

Traveling south from Henderson, turn onto KY 56 east at exit #63 and go 6.0 miles to Beechgrove and follow KY 136 for 9.8 miles to Calhoun. Cross over KY 81 at the stop light and go 0.3 miles and turn right onto Park Loop.
