Kentucky Down Under
Kentucky Caverns
Open Mid-March - October 31
Sunday - Saturday 8 am - 6 pm
Open every day 9am - 4 pm year round, except Christmas, New Year and Thanksgiving
Kentucky Down Under offers actual interaction with animals. Watch a border collie herd sheep, bottle feed lambs, milk a cow and learn about life on a sheep station in our woolshed. You can also interact with reptiles, kangaroos, hand-feed birds and learn about the animals.
Visitors will marvel at the beautiful onyx formations found in the underground chamber. Massive columns, delicate coral, and flowing "draperies" are among the colorful cave formations that awe and delight visitors to this subterranean wonderland.
DIRECTIONS
Located off Interstate 65, exit. 58 in Horse Cave Kentucky, halfway between Louisville and Nashville, TN

FUTURE PLANS

Continue to grow with emphasis on educating the public through interaction and activity.
